The launching of the new IKEA catalog is always a global phenomenon that is eagerly awaited by both the consumers and the media. Revoltti has been granted the honour of producing this event for multiple years in a row already.

The theme of the newest catalog is #kutsusyömään (call to eat) and the media event was organized by going along with this theme: during the event a three course dinner was served with a mouth watering menu comprised of IKEA’s MAT ingredients. Over one hundred media representatives attended.

An urban restaurant was built in Kaapelitehdas’ Puristamo by utilizing IKEA’s furniture and interior design elements, in the core of which was a kitchen tailored specifically for the event. The interactive twitter wall as well as the atmospheric lighting and sound finished the ensemble. Revoltti was in charge of the event’s building, dismantling and technology with a turnkey principle.
